December 2008 – Participation in the 3rd World Congress of Imams and Rabbis for peace

The 3rd World Congress of Imams and Rabbis for peace took place on 15th, 16th and 17th December 2008, under the aegis of UNESCO, with the theme the sacredness of peace, with Grains of Peace taking part. The workshops demonstrated that Rabbis, in particular orthodox, Imams and Ayatollahs have decided to work together to achieve peace with concrete actions (training courses in Berlin to speak about peace to their respective congregations, drafting of religious education lessons centring on peace between communities etc.)
