Discover our positive approach to overcome violence and inspire peaceful relationships. Our English edition is regularly updated with news on peace and non-violence as well as our own activities.
Grains of Peace is a peace education organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland and is progressively active in several other countries. It is apolitical, non-confessional and independent of outside organisations or persons, whilst being actively open to dialogue and exchange. Discover what’s on our website
Our tools are designed to help adults and children become aware of three key concepts:
Human values, an inspirational force for peace
Peace reflexes, effective tools to bring peace proactively in conflictual situations
The unacceptability of violence, a prerequisite for achieving peace.

In the Ideas Box (on the left), you can read our favourite quotes and our texts relating humour and peace, act out the funny sketches as a family, use our peace tales as bedtime stories, choose sports which develop human values and recount your own transformation story. In our Forum, you can express your own opinions and messages.
If you are a teen or pre-teen, go directly to the TEEN-sphere and express yourself in our Teen Forum.
For Children, our Grains of Surprise section now includes a new story, as well as a new section, Peace wishes.

Act for peace education

Translations: A good part of the new pages have been translated into English and this work is ongoing. Many pages have also been translated into Russian. We would be very happy for you to translate some pages into your own language – please contact us.
